Dear Tritons,

Thank you for joining us in our digital renovation to ctcLink! If you have not already done so, please activate your ctcLink account by selecting “First Time User” and then review your personal settings, information, and email address.

Open registration starts today
Spring quarter open registration starts today, Friday, Feb. 26. Check the spring schedule in ctclink to find available classes and to register.

Steps to register for spring classes:

  1. Log into ctcLink and enter your Student Homepage (registration instructions).
  2. Select the Manage Classes tile and on the left panel, Class Search and Enroll.
    1. Step-by-step guides can be found on the ctcLink Student Tutorial page.
  3. You’re almost done! Don’t forget to pay tuition in ctcLink or arrange payment plans (tuition is due March 22 for most classes).
  4. Apply for Financial Aid.
  5. We’re here to help! Join a live agent in a Zoom meeting 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evenings.

Some things to remember with the new system:

  • The classes with "&" in the course number are in different menus from other classes in the same department. In some cases, the “&” was replaced with “CCN.”
  • Lecture/Lab combos are linked and you should only need to register for the Lecture (ctcLink should automatically enroll you in the attached lab).
  • If placement/testing/prerequisite information is missing from your records, please contact Testing and Assessment Services at testingcenter@edcc.edu.
  • If you are having trouble with a Permission Code (Entry Code) you need to contact the department or instructor - whoever gave you the code.
  • The course number for Math 47 (math center) 77, 87, and 97 have changed. Each class is now multiple courses. Learn more at edmonds.edu/precollege-math.

We are pleased to inform you that Student Financials services is now accepting payments.

Visit students.edmonds.edu/ctcLink for a selection of tutorials to get started in the ctcLink system...including “How to Pay for Classes in ctcLInk” or follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Financial Accounts tile, then select Payments
  4. Select Make a Payment
  5. Review the amount that you owe.
  6. Specify the payment amount under Payment Amount and click on Next
  7. Confirm your payment by selecting Continue to Make Payment.
  8. Then you will be directed to the billing page. Complete each of the tabs to enter your billing information, enter payment, review and submit your payment.
  9. You have now completed a payment on your financial account

Spring quarter registration starts today
Spring quarter early registration begins today with open registration starting on Friday, Feb. 26. Find your registration time online or in ctcLink. Also, check the spring quarter class schedule in advance to find available classes.

Steps to register for spring classes:

  1. Follow these registration instructions (instructions also available here)
    • Go to the ctcLink login page
    • Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
    • Click Student Homepage, then Manage Classes
    • On the left, select Class Search and Enroll
    • Select the term and institution (Edmonds College)
    • At the top of the page, you can enter a keyword to search for specific classes. Then select the Search button.
    • Note: On the left-hand side, different filters will display for you to narrow your search results. These filters are:
      1. Subject
      2. Class status (open classes)
      3. Course career
      4. Number of units (credits)
      5. Location
      6. Instruction mode
      7. Academic session
      8. Class meeting days (days of the week)
      9. Class start times
      10. Class end times
      11. Class components (Lecture/ Lab)
      12. Class attribute
    • Select a Course and the class sections will display.
    • Select the Class hyperlink to view details.
    • The Class Information window will display. Review each of the five tabs:
      1. Class details
      2. Meeting information
      3. Enrollment information
      4. Class availability
      5. Textbook/Other information
    • Click on the Close (X) button to close the Class Information window
    • To enroll in the class, click on the right arrow (>) at the end of the row for that class section
    • The Class Search and Enroll guide displays
      1. Step 1 Review Class Selection on the left-hand side of the screen. Select the Next link at the top right of the page.
      2. Step 2 Review Class Preference page will display. Input Waitlist preference or Permission Number (if applicable) and select the Accept button.
      3. Step 3 Enroll or Add to Cart page displays.
        1. Here you will have the ability to add the class to your Shopping Cart and search for additional classes prior to enrollment or to process the enrollment for the individual course.
        2. If you want to add this to your Shopping Cart and continue to search for additional classes, select Add to Shopping Cart and then the Next button.
        3. If you are done searching for classes and are ready to enroll select Enroll then the Next button.
      4. Step 4 Review and Submit page will display. Once you select the Submit button, a submit confirmation page will display.
    • Select the Yes option to confirm submission.
      1. Note: A message bar at the top of the page appears to confirm the course has been added or errors will display.
      2. Typical errors include, not meeting an enrollment requirement, a time conflict, full class, etc.
    • The updated Confirmation page will display. Select View My Classes on the left side to confirm that your class has been added.
  2. Pay tuition

You’re almost there! Save your spot---Don’t forget to or arrange payment by the deadline.

  1. Apply for Financial Aid.
  2. Set up a payment plan online. This ensures that you are not dropped from your classes.

Winter class changes

If you had any adds, drops, or class changes from Jan. 27 to Feb. 16 that have not yet been processed, please send requests to Winter21.registration@edcc.edu. You can add/drop winter classes in ctcLink now through Feb. 19.

Student Financials

We’ve learned that the Student Financials pillar was not quite ready this week when ctcLink went live. Thanks for your patience as we work to resolve this area of service. A campus wide email will be sent to you as soon as it is functioning and ready to receive payment. Please keep an eye out in your EdMail and know that there will be no consequences to your account due to this extension.

Good news! Most college services will be available during our digital upgrade which goes live for students on Tuesday, Feb. 16. However, there will be limited services for students the week of Feb. 8-12 as college employees make the switch to the new system.

On Feb. 16, Edmonds College will launch ctcLink – a new self-service portal and mobile app. During the upgrade, some services for students will be delayed.

Important! Starting Wednesday, Jan. 27 through Tuesday, Feb. 16, our current system will be offline as we transition to ctcLink. This will directly impact tuition payments, adding or dropping a class, new student applications, and unofficial transcript requests.

Here’s what you need to know: 

Tuition Payment Plans

You will not be able to submit tuition payments from Jan. 27 through Feb. 16. Please note: You will not be dropped from your class for non-payment during this time. Payments will be accepted until 8 p.m. on Jan. 26.

Adding or Dropping a Class, and Registrations

You will not be able to add, drop, or register for classes until ctcLink goes live on Feb. 16. If you need to make any changes, please do so by 8 p.m. on Jan. 26.

New Student Applications

New students can apply for admission online, however, applications submitted after Jan. 27 will not be processed until after Feb. 16. Students will receive a notice when their application has been processed.

Unofficial Transcripts

You will not be able to access unofficial transcripts Jan. 27 through Feb. 16. Unofficial transcripts will be available in ctcLink starting on Feb. 16. If you need an unofficial transcriptbefore Feb. 16, please submit your request by 8 p.m. on Jan. 26.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts will be available and can be ordered through the National Student Clearinghouse.
