Undocumented and Non-Resident Student Resources

There are many resources online for undocumented and non-resident students. Below we highlight a few that many students find useful.
1. MESA
Undocumented and non-resident students are eligible for MESA and are encouraged to apply. We do not ask for social security numbers. All MESA members are eligible for MESA Scholarships. View our Conferences, Internships, and Scholarship Database for more resources.

- Resident Affidavit (House Bill 1079)
- This law determines which students can be considered residents of WA State and eligible for in-state tuition. This needs to be completed at each institution you attend.

- Non-Resident Co-Curricular Program Participants
- MESA is an approved co-curricular program and students that are non-residents can have the MESA Director sign the form to be considered for the non-resident tuition/fee waiver.
