  1. Go to the ctcLink Login page
  2. Click on Activate Your Account

  3. Follow the instructions by entering your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and ID number. Under 'ID Type', select 'ctcLink ID'. 
    • Note: Current Winter 2021 students and returning students with an SID number: 
      • You may change the 'ID Type' to 'SID (old)', and enter your SID number. 
      • Alternatively, you may look up your new ctcLink ID using the Student ID Lookup Tool
  4. Once all of your information has been entered, click on Submit. If you run into an error, verify the accuracy of the name, date of birth, and ID you entered.
  5. You will now be prompted to set up your account. Enter your email, and complete the security question/answer information.
    • Note: enter a personal email address that you have reliable access to. College communications including registration, financial aid, etc. will be directed to this address
    • You’ll need your security answer to reset your password, please remember them!
    • Tech Support CANNOT recover questions or answers for you
  6. Create a password that has:
    • At least 8 characters
    • 1 UPPERCASE letter
    • 1 lowercase letter
    • 1 number (0, 1, 2, 3…)
    • Re-enter the password below to confirm.
  7. Click on Submit when you are done
  8. Your account will be activated right away. Be sure to take note of your ctcLink ID

  1. Go to the ctcLink Login page
  2. Click on Password Help and select Reset Password
  3. Enter your ctcLink ID and select your desired method to reset your password
  4. Follow the instructions sent to your desired method of communication (Text, Voice Call or Email)
    • Note: The password reset instructions are sent to the phone number or email address that you have set when you activated your ctcLink account
  5. Your password will be reset right away. You may log back in to ctcLink.

  Note: Read below for infomation on how to obtain your ctcLink ID number. If you still cannot locate your ctcLink ID, please contact Enrollment Services for assistance.

New Students (Registered Spring Quarter 2021 and beyond): Your ctcLink ID number will be included in your admissions email.

Returning Students (Registered between January 2015 - Winter Quarter 2021): Prepare your old SID. This will be used to obtain your ctcLink ID when you activate your account.

Former Students (Registered anytime before 2015): You will need to reapply to Edmonds College to obtain your new ctcLink ID.

Login issues: If you are unable to log in to ctcLink, try using an incognito/private browser window in your main web browser. This option can be typically found, on the top-right of your browser window. Alternatively, you can set your computer to delete cookies and history after each use, or frequently clear your browser history manually.


For online payment issues: We are aware of the sporadic tuition payment issues students are experiencing. We encourage you to try and pay again. Please clear cache, try a new browser, use a different device, or log into an incognito window.

  • Use any browser besides Chrome — most issues have been related to that browser

  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Student Homepage, then Profile
  4. Go to Contact Details
  5. Under the Email section. click the Add icon (+) to add an email address
  6. Enter your preferred address and check the box next to “Preferred”
  7. Click Save
  8. Your preferred email address has been updated
 
  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Student Homepage, then Profile
  4. Go to Contact Details
  5. Under the Phone section, click the Add icon (+) to add a phone number
  6. Enter your preferred phone number and check the box next to “Preferred”
  7. Click Save
  8. Your preferred phone number has been updated
 
  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Student Homepage, then Profile
  4. Your Personal Details will be displayed, and you can review your personal details such as, name, date of birth and social security number. 
  5. Listed below is your  Primary Name. When you select Primary Name, you can view the legal name that is on file.  You cannot update this online. 
  6. You may add another name by clicking on the plus (+) button. Be sure to indicate which name is Primary and Preferred
  7. Make the desired changes, and when finished, click on Save
  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Student Homepage, then Profile
  4. On the left, select Ethnicity
  5. Here, you may specify your ethnicity using the provided options
  6. Click on the Save button
  7. Click on the Background tab. Note: Adding your ethnic background is optional
  8. Click on the plus (+) button to add an ethnic background
  9. A popup window will appear. Click on the drop-down menu to search for your ethnic background.
  10. Once selected, indicate below if this is your Primary background
  11. Click on Save
  12. Your Bio/Demo information has now been updated

Note: Enrollment dates open for specific groups of students, and eventually open for all students.

  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Student Homepage, then Manage Classes
  4. On the left, select Enrollment Dates
    • Note: You may see an option to select a quarter. Choose the appropriate quarter, and Continue
  5. Under Enrollment Appointments, you will see the date and time you may register for courses.
  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Student Homepage, then Manage Classes
  4. On the left, select Class Search and Enroll
  5. Select the term and institution (Edmonds College)
  6. At the top of the page you can enter a keyword to search for specific classes. Then select the Search button.
  7. Note: On the left-hand side different filters will display for you to narrow your search results. These filters are: 
    • Subject
    • Class Status (open classes)
    • Course Career
    • Number of Units (Credits)
    • Location
    • Instruction Mode
    • Academic Session
    • Class Meeting Days (Days of the week) 
    • Class Start Times
    • Class End Times
    • Class Components (Lecture/ Lab)
    • Class Attribute
  8. Select a Course and the class sections will display.
  9. Select the Class hyperlink to view details.
  10. The Class Information window will display. Review each of the five tabs:
    • Class Details
    • Meeting Information
    • Enrollment Information
    • Class Availability
    • Textbook/Other Information
  11. Click on the Close (X) button to close the Class Information window
  12. To enroll in this class, click on the right arrow (>) at the end of the row for that class section
  13. The Class Search and Enroll guide displays in Step 1 Review Class Selection on the left-hand side of the screen. Select the Next link at the top right of the page.
  14. Step 2 Review Class Preference page will display. Input Wait List preference or Permission Number (if applicable) and select the Accept button.
  15. Step 3 Enroll or Add to Cart page displays.
    • Here you will have the ability to add the class to your Shopping Cart and search for additional classes prior to enrollment or to process the enrollment for the individual course.  
    • If you want to add this to your Shopping Cart and continue to search for additional classes, select Add to Shopping Cart and then the Next button. 
    • If you are done searching for classes and are ready to enroll select Enroll then the Next button.
  16. Step 4 Review and Submit page will display. Once you select the Submit button, a submit confirmation page will display.
  17. Select the Yes option to confirm submission.
    • Note: A message bar at the top of the page appears to confirm the course has been added or errors will display.
    • Typical errors include, not meeting an enrollment requirement, a time conflict, full class, etc.
  18. The updated Confirmation page will display. Select View My Classes on the left side to confirm that your class has been added.
 
  1. Go to the ctcLink login page
  2. Enter your ID and password, and click Sign In
  3. Click Financial Accounts tile, then select Payments
  4. Select Make a Payment
  5. Review the amount that you owe. 
  6. Specify the payment amount under Payment Amount and click on Next
  7. Confirm your payment by selecting Continue to Make Payment.
  8. Then you will be directed to the billing page. Complete each of the tabs to enter your billing information, enter payment, review and submit your payment.
  9. You have now completed a payment on your financial account.

Responses are monitored and processed by Enrollment Services.

  1. On your mobile device, proceed to the App Store (iOS)/Play Store (Android)
  2. Search for, ‘ctcLink
  3. Locate the ctcLink app from the search results. Note: The app publisher is WA SBCTC  or WA State Board for Community and Technical Colleges
  4. Install the app
  5. Once installed, open the app and choose whether or not you want to allow notifications
  6. Review the Terms and Conditions. Scroll to the bottom and select Agree
  7. The list of Institutions will appear. Locate and select Edmonds College (you may use the search bar to lookup Edmonds College)
  8. Once Edmonds College is selected, you will be brought to the Edmonds College ctcLink Homepage. Here, you can access the following:
    • Student Portal
    • Canvas
    • Class Registration
    • Tuition Payment
    • And more!
