New students can apply for admission online now! There will be a slight delay in the processing of the applications due to the system upgrade. New applicants will receive a notice with their new ctcLink ID on or after February 16 once their application has been processed.

Yes! Edmonds College will continue to offer a tuition payment plan. However, students will not be able to submit payments from January 27 through February 16.

There will be no drops for non-payment during this time. If you have any questions after you log into ctcLink on February 16, check with the Cashiers Office. If you are an international student, please contact the Office of International Programs.

Now! You are able to download the ctcLink app on your smartphone today. It can be downloaded and used anytime. Here’s how:

  • The ctcLink ctcLink app is available for download on IOS and Android devices. Simply go to your app store, type in “ctcLink,” and download the free app.
  • Once downloaded, open the app and scroll all the way down and agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Select “Edmonds College” as your institution.
  • You’ll then see a series of blue, gray, and green tiles on a blue background. The tiles link out to various web pages on edmonds.edu that will be replaced by ctcLink specific tiles once the college has fully transitioned to the new software program on Feb. 16.
  • The app is also available as a mobile-friendly webpage if you’d rather not download the app.

Use the app to access the ctcLink login portal, Canvas, the Edmonds College website, directory, calendar, map, catalog, emergency information, bookstores, Triton Athletics, and more!

Currently the links to the portal will reroute you back to Edmonds College website, but on February 16th the links will route you to the new student portal.

SID or your 955 number will be replaced by a new 9-digit number known as a ctcLink ID. You will use this number to login to Canvas, and your student portal to register for spring quarter.

New students: Starting on February 16, your ctcLink ID number is included in the welcome email you get from Edmonds College.

Current students: When you first activate your new ctcLink account, you’ll log in as a first time user with your SID. You will immediately see a popup window message showing your new ctcLink ID. Be sure to write down, or take a photo/screenshot of this number and keep it in a safe place. You will need this for the next step of logging into the portal. You will NOT be able to log in again with your SID. Only your ctcLInk ID will work going forward.  If you forget to write it down, use the ctcLink Loop Up tool to find it.

You will also be prompted to create a password, and answers to security questions. It is a good idea to safekeep this information with your ctcLink ID as well at this time.

  • The ctcLink app is available for download on IOS and Android devices. Simply go to your app store, type in “ctcLink,” and download the free app.
  • Once downloaded, open the app and scroll all the way down and agree to the terms and conditions.

  • You’ll then see a series of blue, gray, and green tiles on a blue background. The tiles link out to various web pages on edmonds.edu that will be replaced by ctcLink specific tiles once the college has fully transitioned to the new software program on Feb. 8.

The app is also available as a mobile-friendly webpage if you’d rather not download the app.

From January 27 to February 16 will not be able to access unofficial transcripts. Unofficial transcripts will be available in ctcLink starting on February 16, through Student Self Service under the "Academic Records" tile. For more information, please visit the unofficial transcript help page in the ctcLink Reference Center.

Students can order official transcripts as usual through the National Student Clearinghouse:

  • These orders cost $7.75 per transcript, plus an additional $2.50 processing fee per order destination.
  • Processed in 3 business days.
  • To order now, go to the National Student Clearinghouse Order or Track a Transcript website
  • Select “Edmonds College” from the drop-down menu and click “Submit”.
  • Read instructions carefully
  • Click the “Order a Transcript Now” button
  • You’ll be guided through the easy, step-by-step process which enables you to receive email and text updates as well as track your orders online.

Yes, if you previously have an SID (Student Identification Number) your ctcLink ID number replaces your old SID. You will use your new ctcLink ID to register for spring quarter 2021.

After activation, your old SID number and PINs will not work in ctcLink.

Great! You will not need a new number. The ctcLink ID and password you already have will be used at Edmonds College as well.

Your ctcLink ID was assigned at the time of activating your account. If you did not save the 9 digit number at that time, and if you had a SID number, you can use the ctcLink ID lookup tool, If you did not have a SID number, you can submit a ticket at the Edmonds IT Help Center.

No, Canvas is not going away. You will continue to access Canvas for all online components of your classes before and after the transition to the new self-service portal.

You can still use your current SID to log in to Canvas for winter quarter.

Spring quarter you will be using your new ctcLink ID as the login username along with the password you set up for your student portal account.

No. You will still have access to your student EdMail account. In ctcLink, students and employees can change their preferred email address. Once in your student portal, you’ll be able to change your preferred contact and name in your “Profile” tile.

Student employees should edit their preferred details through the “Personal Details” tile in the Employee Self Service center.

Emails sent to your EdMail will not automatically forward to your preferred email address. It would be best practice to set forwarding rules in your account. Learn how to do this at itsupport.edmonds.edu
